Job Summary

• Assists to manage relationship with interconnect partners and record accurate capturing of Call Detail Records (CDR) and settlement of interconnect bills.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Liaises with IT Department to monitor the performance and operation of the interconnect billing systems to ensure constant system availability.
• Monitors interconnect database.
• Monitors the administrations of user security/access on interconnect billing systems and database.
• Prepares reconciliations of Interconnect CDRs.
• Investigates and initiates actions to resolve discrepancies in CDRS.
• Maintains proper back-up of the database.
• Investigates and resolve complaints/ requests relating to roaming and interconnect billing.
• Ensures interconnect bills are prepared on a timely basis.
• Coordinates the implementation of approved, interconnect billing/ tariff plans on the interconnect billing system; new interconnect billing applications and upgrade of existing systems.
• Assists in the configuration of approved call rates on the interconnect billing system.
• Prepares for the attention/approval of Manager, Interconnect Accounts & Settlement periodic interconnect reports and ensures availability of up-to-date systems documentation.
• Liaises with relevant units to ensure to ensure synergy across the various departmental functions.
• Prepares agreed periodic activity and performance reports for the attention of the Manager, Interconnect Accounts & Settlement.
• Performs other duties assigned by the Manager, Interconnect Accounts & Settlement.

Education and Qualification

• First degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
• Postgraduate/ professional qualification in a related field will be an added advantage.
• Relevant work experience.
